There's a shocking temperateness in the Seattle air this morning. Could it be spring? (IDK man I've only lived here five years and climate change is fucked.) Well, here are two fun things being carried in on the breeze today: Bandcamp fucking Friday... The way it works is... that nice round 4 dollar amount you see when you buy the album digitally ? Well, when it hits my Paypal that's looking like 3.40 AKA not. that. errrrr ... arousing (I was going to use a more precise metaphor but this newsletter is in good taste) PS I watched part of the Broooke Shields doc last night and now the words "good taste" are dripping forever in sad sad exploitative irony, but irony nonetheless.
Anyway, go to ratpaws.bandcamp.com if you were thinking of buying "Trite You Are" or any of the other rag tag wav files on there... TODAY IS THE DAY. A rather large bird also told me that Bandcamp's writers etc. are trying to unionize. So today is also your day to scoop some tapes and downloads without crossing the picket line!
Also, we have a show coming up next Thursday at the Central Saloon (pictured). We'll be playing with Diirt and Wall Drugs. We're playing last aka headlining aka playing last ;)
It'll be a lot of fun. The set is going to be a VERNALLY-themed affair. Visually and set-listically. Think natal anxiety. Think baby Spike ;)
